According to the drag strip addicts at Dragtimes, the Samurai Speed Nissan GT-R clicks off quarter-mile times around 10.5 seconds at 128 MPH. Unfortunately, this run ended with a grenaded transmission.
In a GT-R versus GT-R race, with launch controlled software at the ready, the Samurai Speed transmission gives up the ghost when the Christmas tree goes green. According to the driver, it sounded like a “bunch of metal dominoes in a line and Tiger Woods came by and hit them with his driver.” Ouch. We're betting those boys voided their warranty a looooooooong time ago. [DragTimes]
